ما كنا كدروز إلا سلالة
من عرق طاهر منذ الأزل
فكنا لخلق الله منارة
من معل إلى علة وعلل
فمن حكمة التوحيد رشفنا
وأيقونة وأحلى الحلل
فلا تقولو أننا حفنة
فنحن ملح الكون والملل

We, as Druze, were nothing but a descendant of a pure race from time immemorial. We were, for God’s creation, a beacon, from divinity to a cause and affects. From the wisdom of monotheism, we are continuing to be a pure race, an icon, and the most absorbing knowledge. Do not say that we are a handful, for we are the salt of the universe.
